Last week me and the tribe spent a week in Barmouth.

Mat had spent the bank holiday weekend with us and then went back to keep up with the workload.

During that week we splashed in the swimming pool, played the oldest arcade games you have ever seen, rode on death defying go karts, searched rock pools for critters and did some wave jumping in the sea.

Oh and ate ice cream mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

What better way to spend the last full week of the summer holidays?

We travelled into Barmouth town for ice cream midway through the week.

The kids were so excited at getting the train into town and trying yet another ice cream parlour.

By the time I got the kids off the go karts and ready to get the train it was nearly lunchtime.

So what else was I meant to do?

What is the one rule when by the seaside (or at least in our household it is)?

The one thing you can’t go home without doing?

You got it

Fish and chips by the beach.

So off we went to our old faithful fish and chip restaurant on the seafront.

Then I saw it………………..

Shock horror.

I could not believe my eyes.

The lettering on their sign was falling off.

Now I am not normally so shocked by these things (not like Mat anyway)

However, when we last visited them a couple of years ago they asked us to quote on said sign.

We did, and they didn’t go ahead as they said they could get someone to do it a little cheaper.

Now I don’t want to say I told you so but………………………….

2 years??? I would be spitting feathers.

Needless to say, we may be making another trip very soon to Barmouth, Business of course.

So take a look at your signage, is it suitable for purpose?

Is it clear and professional looking?

If not get in touch with me to find out how we can help.
